I can see buying something that's complicated to make, but c'mon -- mashed potatoes? We just bought a huge bag of local potatoes here, and my favorite is making home fries. Boil them for about 20 minutes, then slice and fry them in a bit of oil until just slightly crispy. Mmmm.. Well said!
