With most of the competition dead, Scalzi is now my favorite SF author. If only he could be as prolific as Isaac Asimov, I would be sure to have something nice to read for the rest of my life.

Seriously, most of the books that I have read from John were very enjoyable.

I have recently started "The book of dumb" and I have failed to be totally amazed as I was with omw, gb, tlc, zoe, android sheep and agent to the stars. I must confess that I was not thrilled with something called "the sagan report" or something like this.

I still read Ben Bova, and I get happy with about 1 book out of 6 nowadays.

Scalzi makes me happy closer to 7 out of 9 books. I am talking about "read the book once or twice more" happy, which is a lot to say.

Cam, thanks for the offer of help over at The Whatever with the WordPress plug-ins. Ironically, I could not see your contact form on your contact page.

And I agree, Scalzi is a worthy read!
